Volunteer

Volunteers help make Cerenity truly feel like “home” to our 1,400 residents and tenants. From one-on-one chats to playing the piano, volunteers graciously give their time and talents to bring joy to our residents. Volunteers are greatly appreciated not only by residents, but also by the residents’ family members and Cerenity staff.

Volunteer coordinators will work to match your interests, skills and availability with volunteer opportunities, such as:

  • Dining room assistant
  • Beauty shop
  • Entertainment
  • Office assistance
  • One-to-one visits
  • Outings
  • Resident escorts
  • Recreation assistants
  • Spiritual care
  • Therapy escorts
  • ...and much more!

Rachelle is a University of St. Thomas Art History student who volunteered her time and talent by painting a Tuscan/garden theme for the steel doors of the Memory Care Unit at Marian of Saint Paul. The doors now give residents a feeling of calm and peace when they reach the end of their hall. Rachelle is pictured here with two of the Memory Care residents.
